Founder, Darion L. James, Ph.D
Special education does not mean that a student is incapable of learning, it means that may need different supports in order to succeed.
Change is the law of life, and those who dwell in the past or look only to the present are certain to miss the future
~ John F. Kennedy

HONORABLE MENTION
December 2nd ~ December 6th
Not One...
But TWO!

Safiya & Asilah
WASHINGTON
During a lesson on multiplication and interpreting products of whole numbers both Safiya and Asilah stole the show!
What makes this feat exceptional is the fact that both Safiya and Asilah were able to solve the posed questions in not 1, not 2, BUT 3 different ways!
Under the supervision of
Dr. Darion James, scholars are developing an understanding of the meanings of multiplication and division of whole numbers through activities and problems involving equal-sized groups, arrays, and area models. By comparing a variety of solution strategies, students learn the relationship between multiplication and division.
Congratulations Twins!
