October 17th:

My Brother's Keeper (with k-3)

Members will be assigned specific scholars to read with and will serve as "Big Brothers". They will have the chance to eat lunch with their respective buddy and set an academic and personal goal for the year.

October 22nd:

Powerful in Pink

Members will wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Letters/Cards will be written and delivered to

Washington Cancer Institute and the GW Comprehensive Breast Center.
